Mrs. Lisa Larsen-Clough
Mrs. Larsen-CLough ELA Teacher
I have been teaching at Sanford since 1997. I was 1st a Reading support teacher and very active in a leadership role helping Sanford become a great, MPS middle school. As Sanford grew, I became an ELA teacher in 2016.
My husband Curt and I have a very spoiled, 16+ year old Chocolate lab. I also have a step son and daughter who are grown adults now. We spend a lot of time with family and friends. I enjoy reading, gardening, camping, canoeing, fishing, hiking, biking, water & snow skiing, snowmobiling, antiquing, DIY projects at home and basically anything that gets me outside enjoying nature. I am from South Dakota originally and love going to the Black Hills often.
I am looking forward to meeting all of you this year. We can make it through any challenges together. Through collaboration, we can learn new skills along this journey. We will be understanding and gracious along the way with one another. We can persevere when we are challenged and ask for help. When we feel stressed, we will all practice SEL strategies to relax and take care of ourselves and others.
Our ELA Sanford community is our safe place to nurture one another.
