What Will We Learn?

The History of the United States spans centuries and includes the influence of many cultures, languages and beliefs. We will do our best to cover as much contemporary U.S. history as we can, while emphasizing the different perspectives and experiences major events and decisions have created for those living in the U.S.  

We will cover 5 units this year:

Unit 1: What the Law Says (U.S. Government)

Unit 2: History Day (Turning Points in History)

Unit 3: American Development (The Industrial Age and Progressive Era)

Unit 4: America on a Global Stage

Unit 5: Americans Coming Into the Current Era
