About Me

Welcome to 7th Grade United States History! I am Ms. Monroe and I am excited to have you join my class! This is my third year at Sanford Middle school, as I spent the last 9 years teaching social studies at Keewaydin and the 4 years prior at Edison High School. I graduated from the College of Saint Benedict with a degree in Education and Social Science and received my Masters from St. Mary's University. I live in Minneapolis with my family which includes my son, who will be entering 4th grade, my 3 year old daughter and our 4 year old Miniature Australian Shepard "Lola".
