I am super excited to start a new year at Sanford and look forward to all of this year's challenges and triumphs. I believe curiosity is one of the most important tools we can have as we adventure through life. I am excited to share my curiosities. Together, we will work on skills that give learners the ability and the desire to constantly ask why, to look at a situation with a critical eye, and be comfortable making mistakes.

This will be a very exciting year for sixth and eighth grade science. We will cover topics in; Hydrology & Human Interaction, Meteorology & Weather, Climate Change, Earth's Geological Story, Human Response to Natural Disaster, and Astronomy.   Check the "Nuts and Bolts" section in the Google Classroom to find the class syllabus, a daily schedule, and other materials and resources for Science.
