Hello all! My name is Aviva Olsen, but I prefer to be called by my maiden name Ms.GK (Ms. Grans-Korsh).  I will be your 7th grade Life Science teacher this year!  

A little about me:

I started teaching at Sanford in 2012.  I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Minnesota State University, Mankato (MSU) with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and a concentration in Middle School Science--GO MAVERICKS! 

Then in 2019, I earned my Master's Degree in Youth Developement Leadership from the University of Minnesota--GO GOPHERS!  I strongly believe in the philosophy of teaching the whole student.  I might be your student's science teacher, but I want them to learn organization, kindness and responsibility in my class in addition to science content.
